Trunk release 2004 Lexus not working what can I do.

The trunk release in my 2004 Lexus is not working. I can open the trunk with
The key release only.

There is a button in the glove box but that is only to turn the trunk release by the left side of the steering wheel on and off, so if you push that and then try the trunk release, which may not even be marked, it should work.
