HOw old is the truck, has it been tuned up recently? Has the fuel filter been changed? Have you checked the fuel pump? It sounds fuel related. When the truck slows down an automatic tranny will down shift. This places a little strain on the engine thus causing it to kill. Check the fuel deliver system first.
