it kinda varies, the first one came in the late 60's and if im not mistaken i think they stopped procucing them before the 80's are you looking for one? or just curious? not sure where you live, but here in nw colorado theyr all over the place, some people use them for a restored truck they drive frequently, good power, decent mileage, few others use them in a wheeling truck, if your making a wheeler i would personnaly use the 460, awesome power and torque and you can do so much more to get power from a 460 too
