changing timing chain

2 Answers

I have a 2010 Ford Edge 3.5L also 2008 F250 6.8 L v10. When should the timing chain be replaced. I change oii every 5000 miles with full syn oil. Are there any warning signs, or miles. I heard you could use a timing light. My Edge does not have timing marks on pulley, anyway I could not find any. Thanks Dale
