TV just stopped working on my 2002 Ford E150 Conversion van

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Wondering if it could just be a fuse problem, everything else in the van seems to be working except the TV and DVD player.

It could be a fuse, but since it's a conversion van, the fuse or power source can be anywhere. It all depends on the company that did the conversion. Follow the power wires as far as you can. Check your fuse box(s) for wires that look like they are not factory installed (tapped into the top of a fuse), or splices that don't look factory installed. Also check near the battery for inline fuses. Ford doesn't put wires with inline fuses near the battery.

You can also do an internet search for the conversion company, and if they are still in business, you can ask them for a wiring diagram.

When I say fuse taps,...look for any wire that is routed into the top of the fuse box. It will look something like this in your fuse box. There a couple of types of fuse taps, and this is one. (follow the link) http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a90/TJHUB/DSC02194.jpg
