Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Can I fix a squeaky-ass suspension myself? It sounds like my Dad's car is riding on bed springs and it's really embarrassing. Can I fix it w/o replacing anything? Is it as simple as lubing something up?

Lubing is more a band aid than a fix. unless the joints or bushings require lubricant, lubing will not resolve your problem. it may temporarily mask the problem but it wont go away. bushings may be the reason its squeaking. you really have to locate the cause of the squeek to really know what your dealing with
