Its IMA battery pack comes with an 8-year/80,000-mile warranty, or a 10-year/150,000-mile warranty in CA,CT, MA, ME, NY or VT.* See your dealer for details. To have the battery replaced without a warranty, your looking at a cost around $4000 to remove and install at a dealer.

Hi I just had mine replaced yesterday at the dealer where I purchased my 2007 Accord Hybrid new, except the eight year warranty was already expired by almost a year, they suggested I call Honda Canada's customer care line I assume the US has the same kind of service. Honda Canada, out of customer loyalty covered 50% Praise God,I only paid $1877.00 Canadian with taxes and installation. Hope that helps
