How to muffle sound in a V6 Skyline, after catalytic converters removed?

I have a 2.5 L V6 2004 Skyline and long time ago I removed the catalytic converters,
replaced straight pipe and added a big bore. It's way too loud for the neighborhood im
moving too... how can i fix the problem?

I am aware that I can added mufflers and silencers but I want an affordable way than replacing the cats again with new ones... just want to get some ideas thats worked for others ?
