MY ABS LIGHT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I CHANGED MY BREAK PIPES NOW MY ABS LIGHT STAYS ON HOW DO I FIX THIS

1 Answer

the ABS has an hydraulic accumulator that needs to be charged with repeated pumps of the pedal and solid connection to the vacuum assist~ Be sure the fluid is topped off and pump the pedal repeatedly to pressurize the accumulator and drive any air out~ make sure no air gets into the hydraulic circuit, or you'll have to start all over again~
