My 1500 dodge starts and runs fine until i start to get on the gas and it randomly dies

At about 35 mph it dies with out sputtering and all electrical still works

It had one light tht came on the said GEN but now it stopped

Something is losing connection or breaking down. Look for any loose or corroded wires from the battery to frame / engine. Look for any connectors on the engine for loose corroded wires. I f these are ok try dist.cap,rotor button and pick up in the distributor or coil.
