my truck won't idle
i have a 2000 ram 1500 4X4 that the battery went dead in and now my truck won't idle when it is warmed up. but it will idle when it is cold. anyone know what i can do to get my truck to idle right?
It's possible the throttle position sensor has gone bad, or one of the oxygen sensors. You may want to have this checked by a dealership. When the engine is cold the onboard computer uses a preprogrammed fuel-air mixture until it kicks down to curb idle. It's possible the problem is as simple as reflashing your ECM to "re-learn" the correct warm fuel air mix. A dealership can do this for you.
just run some good cleaner thru fuelsystem, drive a while to set cycle in pcm maby will, wake up
