My 4 wheel drive works just fine, i need to drive in 2-high. it won't go into gear and drive when i put 4 wheel drive in neutral then regular drive. Would anyone know?

My 4 wheel drive works just fine, i need to drive in 2-high. it won't go into gear and drive when i put 4 wheel drive in neutral then regular drive. Would anyone know?

Do you shift your transmission into N before shifting out of 4x4? If not it will not go back into 2 high and it will grind.
