the only thing holding it on is the rubber boot.How do I remove it and will I lose fluids.Also I can drive it without one for a while correct?

You will not loose fluid and yes you can drive without it according to the above thread.

i have a 1998 dodge ram 1500 sport with a 5.9 gas motor. im trying to figure out what trans i have in the truck. the tag under the hood says bd48. when i look that up it shows for a diesel. so im not sure what trans i have. i cant find any tags on the trans at all but on the bell housing does have 064-2 if that helps any 3 Answers
