How do I make my 1990 Ford F-150 5.0 faster
It's a 5.0 1990 with the dual throttle
body setup I have a cold air intake
on it nothing else it's completely
Intake manifold, cylinder heads, camshaft, headers, dual 2 1/2" exhaust, custom tuning, etc. etc.
what would give it take off power as well and I also have a flow master
MSD ignition, high perf E3 spark plugs, & Nology braided solid center t's park plug wires., A custom bent exhaust from a exhaust shop. A single 3" flows more than duel exhaust & use a 3" inlet & outlet performance catilitic convertor & muffler too. I used a Raven system on a 350" Chevy truck, & the bigger tube sounded great too. Side exhaust exit just behind the rear tire won't interfere with a tow hitch either.

Power costs money, & not cheap anymore like in my "old school" days! Sunoco "blue" 260 high octane gas was .39 cents a gallon & went up to .59 cents & people thought that was too much. (late 1960's). Pace yourself & do aftermarket mods little by little. Once a while is OK or like when you do maintenance or buy tires schedule.
