Sounds like fuel pump failure but there are a few things to check first, the fuel pump inertia switch have a known problem with the connector burning out, the fuel pump internal points can burn out so no power to the fuel pump then finally checking the fuel pumps pressure and flow.

try to replace the fuel pump and if your truck uses a fuel filter i would suggest changing that up as well

I don't think u wanna start replacing parts without first diagnosing if they're bad. I would start by checking fuel pressure at rail and take if from there

If this is a dual tank truck switch to the other tank . If it works then it is the fuel pump. Be quiet and get some one to just turn the ignition switch halfway on and you should be able to hear the fuel running take the gas cap off and you can hear it better. Flip the switch to other tank and if your don't hear it then it is the fuel pump.
