Changed the fupload pump and it still won't start
I have a 92 F150 standard
I changed the fuel pump on my F150 and tried to
start it, she clicked and clicked then died. Charged
the battery and still nothing.. fuel pump works.
What else could it be? Help please!
Question?Did you change the fuel filter all so?
And if you mean click at the starter,if you know battery is good check your connections to and from starter,if good then possible stater problem.
AND CLEAR THE FUEL LINES.....
Check voltage of battery with meter. Try jumping the solenoid on the fender well (for a second only) and see if the engine cranks. If it does crank with the jump, change the relay.
Try jumping it like OJ says, if it does start, check for voltage signal on the small wire to the relay, if there's voltage signal, replace relay, if no signal voltage at the relay, you have a bad ignition switch or broken wire from relay to ignition switch, check voltage at ignition switch below your dashboard right above steering column
