have a 93 f150 long bed single cab park brake cable broke, Bought another cable chiltons says it should have an equilizer but mine does not cable is about 2 inches to short any ideas

sounds like you have the wrong cable.. try to measure the old cable to get an approximate length.. and measure ur wheel base

cable is same length as old one
