Truck will not start it acts like it is out of gas,but the gas go's pass filter and gas comes out of line

you might need a new fuel pump... is it efi or carburated ?

im assuming its efi. i had a similar problem in my 2000 silverado. i swapped out the fuel pump and filter and it was as good as new. if the pump doesnt have enough pressure the truck wont start...
