iHave an intermitennt miss/shutter/dies I have replacedthe module,tps ,both fuel pumps (rear tnk removed so only one low pressure pump),fuel filter,regulater, plug wires,distributor cap/ rotor any thoughts

i would try 2 things, if your egr valve is sticking it will make it run goofy, if you pull the vacuum hose off the egr and it starts running better it might be the valve. i have also seen a fuel system problem that was actually being caused by the battery cable in about that year, i think there is more than one wire on the pos cable and it feeds power to the fuel system, so it got new pumps unneededly,good luck
I have a 1990 ford econoline and i am having the same problems.I have replaced everything.Now i am trying to find out what else to do.Don't feel bad,i am in the same boat!!!!!!! Diane
a stoped up cat converter will cause this problen,it builds up back pressure in the engine and cause your problems,try the drill test,drill a 1/8th hole in down pipe before cat converter,drive it see if it stops the problem,put a screw in hole drilled.most MONRO MUFFLER shops will do this test for free.
