how mqny quarts of oil does a 1986 ford f150 5.0 take?

I dunno about the 86 for sure, but my 82 took 5.5 quarts.

any 302 or 5.0 i have had will take 5 quarts as long as you pulled the oil filter off of it. dont know why you would dump the oil anyway without changing the filter. seems like i can remeber something with a 302 that i had to take 2 different drain plugs out to get all the oil out of the pan. might of been a Tbird.

All Ford 302's take 5 quates with filter. The mustang and t bird have dual sump oil pans and in any pick up it is just one sump with one dran plug.
