How much should i sell a 1980 Ford F150 for?

It has a stock 302 5.0L V8 engine with a AOD automatic transmission behind it. The trasmission is slipin and dosent want to go in gear, I just want to get rid of it. It has a headache rack and a hitch systsem so you can pull it behind another truck. I was hopin to get 1000 bucks, what i orginally put into it. But what do you think this truck is worth selling for? Honest answers plz

I'm a dealer and I would say a grand is a fair price for it. It runs. Basically the engine alone is worth $500 in running condition so a grand for the whole truck isn't out of line.
