My Ford F150 fails to turn on from time to time nothing wrong with battery and it happens sporadically, as if something wrong with key ignition.

1. Check your battery terminals to ensure they are both tightly attached to power wires feeding the vehicle. You'd be surprised how many times a terminal connection is loose and all you have to do is tighten it to start. 2. If it sounds like the ignition is not cranking (er-er-er-er-er-er-er is the sound of cranking ok) if it is dead, just a click, it maybe a starter problem. 3. Try jump start. If that works and it goes dead again, it could be you need a new altenator. Big box parts stores will do a free battery and altenator check. Charge your batter and drive there for a free test dude. It will not take a jump but the lights and everything seems to work just wont turn on. Battery tested fine.

Check ur ground cable, if ok, check for voltage at starter, when this happens so u can replace the bad part vs guessing and spending more money than u should. If proper voltage at starter is present, replace starter
