92 Oldsmobile bravada

I was told at the fan on the car was bad and needed a new one it is now making a clacking and cranking noise
and squealing and it's really wobbly where the fan is do I need the new fan or does it need to be tightened down

The cranking and squealing hints at the fan motor dying....the clanking and the fact that its wobbly suggests that it may be hitting the radiator or the fan housing. You can try tightening everything down, but eventually it will need replaced. Either way, you may want to do something before it causes an expensive situation
