Out of the Door & Trading In

Asked by Leoole1050 Aug 18, 2020 at 04:33 AM about the 2014 Acura ILX Hybrid

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I’m trading in my 2017 Honda Accord for $20k
with 2020 Honda Accord store price $35k.
The sales told me $30K is my out of the door
price.
What does it means?
$30K is how much owe or $30k is the price of
the 2020 Honda Accord? I’m so confused.

You need to add $10,000 to you 20. If you want that 2020. $30,000 is the adling price for that 2020

40,150

Out the door means your total price after Trade in, taxes, fees license and registration. My guess is the dealership is only giving you around $10K for your 2017. Trade in prices for a 2017 ILX are around $15K. Did the dealership say you would get $20K for it? I suggest you message the dealer for a price sheet and or agreement to go over the math.

I think this means they are charging you $50,000 for your new car or like Dolby says they are short changing you on the trade in. If you do not understand the paperwork, take someone along that does as they may be pulling a fast one on you.
