Hi my 2006 1.6i rocam also shutters when it heats up someone told me that i should buy a new feul presure regulator, could it be treu?

No,fuel pressure regualtor would not heat up being it is non electrical,but your fuel pump will get hot and shut down like this.

It could be a fuel pressure regulator. Before you check it. Check what brand fuel you are using ? Try Total. It sounds more like your spark plugs. On these vehicles with the ROCAM engines, you should use the original Motor Craft spark plugs sold through the Ford Dealer Parts Department. Check also the resistance of the spark plug leads or replace them anyway. Was the engine washed when it was at running temperature, in this case it could be the coil pack that has cracked. Check for a damaged fuel pressure pipe to the fuel injector rail.
