Will a 2002 motor fit in a 2001 ford windstar? Whats the difference?

Thats good to hear. All ive been told before is that it has to be a 2001 only with no explanation. Its a 3.8 l. Will i just have to change sensors?

Can i put a 3.8 ina 2000 windstar the engine is from a 96 windstar?
