Can I take a 1994 Chevy 350 and put it into my
1979 Chevy with a 305

YES, THOSE TWO DISPLACEMENTS ARE IN THE SAME BLOCK. THE LS SERIES DIDN'T BEGIN UNTIL 1997, AND THAT WOULD STILL FIT. YOU JUST HAVE TO MAKE THE ELECTRONICS COMPATIBLE.

by electronics, he means the new engine has throttle body injection- which is good because it gets great gas mileage- but I don't think you are capable of making it work- better to just buy a crate engine with a carb- much easier- and gas doesn't cost that much-

Lol just put a carb adapter on the intake. Or get a new intake for it. The only problem you'll have is the 94 motor won't be able to run the mechanical fuel pump. Just run an inline electric pump and your good. Otherwise it bolts right in.
