What engine can replace the 250 L6 in my 1978 chevy c10 big 10 pickup?

The manifold is warped on oem and I believe it is typical for that year. Is there another engine that could fit using existing mounts and transmission?

I wouldn't worry or mess with putting in another 6 cyl. Dump a small block 350 in. Very common to find, work on and install. That's my 2 cents worth.
