what is the switch beside the speaker switch on a 63 catalina convertibe?

Asked by Jan 17, 2017 at 07:31 PM about the 1963 Pontiac Catalina

Question type: General

it is not the power top switch. it looks just like the speaker switch beside it except it has not script on it indicating what it is for. I've had other 63 Pontiacs and none ever had this extra switch.

Maybe a reverb unit of the day? What function does the "speaker switch" perform? Another possibility is a treble/bass adjustment. Is it a rotary or push button or rocker or pull configuration? Can you provide a picture of both that shows the location of the switches?
