Is there jack from another make of car which will fit my Jaguar E-Type series 2 roadster with the correct ftitments?

I dont think do, they were made just for the Jag

A regular jack will work if you are careful where on the car that you use it. Jacking it up at suspension mounting points is the safest bet. If you jack it on the sills you might collapse a sill especially if there is any rust.
