was their any other motor from the factory besides the 307 in the 87 cutlass 442

Asked by Jul 08, 2013 at 08:33 PM about the 1987 Oldsmobile 442

Question type: Car Customization

1 Answer

22,415

Only 307 V8s were offered in 1987, the final year of the rear drive 442- the engine was redesigned in '86 with a roller cam, and though the HP dropped to 170 horse, the torque improved to 255 lbs ft- cool- try to keep this car original, because they only made 4,000 of them in the final year
