Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The Original OEM Jaguar Hydraulic Fluid is no longer available. What is a compatible, Jaguar acceptable Hydraulic Fluid? I plan to drain the System and replace the Fluid as I do not know what's in there. It looks dark green. Is this Procedure available somewhere? What is capacity of System in Liters?

If you can find the spec for the original fluid then you can find a fluid that is compatible.

I would check and see if fluid for the XK8 would work --- http://www.jagbits.com/

If none of those suggestions work, a top grade jack oil might work just fine. Check out Auto-Zone, Advanced Auto, O'Riley's and NAPA
