16v,or 8v?

im looking at a 1990 1.7fuel ingection 33,i had an 1988 gold clover edtion and it was great,but i dont know if it was because of the  valves,any one know if it was 16v or 8v,i loved it it had all of the usual trates,2nd gear crunch no air con,hard to see out the back window,.but in 2nd gear around a bend, coming onto a straight the power winding out, what a thrill.

If you buying the car for thrill you must buy the 16v Alfa .The more valves means more power and torque.
