Hello, The 1991 Beretta seems to be a fairly safe car to drive. There is a driver's side airbag, but not a passenger side airbag, a strong consideration if you tend to drive with others in the car. as long as you dont have one of the 5 convertable indy's you'll be satisfied with it's safety
