2011 Mercedes-Benz GLK Trims and Specs

New features for the 2011 GLK350 compact SUV include a three-spoke multifunction premium leather-wrapped steering wheel and a new headlight control switch. Other standard features for the GLK350's well-laid-out cabin include eight-way power-adjustable front seats and Burl Walnut wood trim on the doors, dash, and center console. A center controller located on the console makes it easy for drivers to operate many of the GLK350's interior systems, including standard Bluetooth, the dual-zone climate control system, and an eight-speaker, 100-watt AM/FM/CD audio system, as well as an optional hard-drive-based navigation system with real-time traffic and Zagat survey ratings. Owners can add a 6-CD changer as an option. The rear seats fold flat to expand cargo space to 54.7 cubic feet. The automaker's MB-Tex leatherette upholstery comes standard, although owners can upgrade to premium leather upholstery. Other options include a Harman Kardon surround-sound audio system, a panorama sunroof, a rearview camera, and a power liftgate.

A 268-hp, 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine powers the rear-wheel-drive GLK350. The engine generates 258 lb-ft of torque and connects to a versatile seven-speed, two-mode (Sport and Eco Mode) automatic transmission with the Touch Shift manual-shift feature. Owners can add the automaker's 4Matic all-wheel-drive system as an option. Electronic stability control, antilock brakes, and Mercedes' four-wheel Electronic Traction System (4-ETS) all come standard. In addition, a Trailer Stability Assist system works with the electronic stability control to monitor trailer sway and intervene when necessary to help stabilize the vehicle and trailer. The GLK350 has a maximum towing rating of 3,500 pounds and rides on 19-inch, 10-spoke wheels with all-season tires.
