The 2008 Chrysler Crossfire Limited may be in its last year, but it goes out in style. Built on a double wishbone front and multilink rear suspension, the rear-wheel drive coupe is powered by a 3.2-liter, 18-valve V6. It delivers 215-hp and 229 ft-lbs of torque and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or 5-speep automatic. With the automatic, it hits 0-60 in six seconds. The coupe rides on 18-inch front and 19-inch rear alloy wheels with performance tires. A tire monitor is new this year.
The 2008 Crossfire Limited comes well-equipped, with full power features that include an 8-way power driver's and 4-way power passenger seat. Remote entry, keyless start, cruise control, a garage opener, and retractable rear spoiler are all standard. Also offered are leather trim, faux metal accents, intermittent wipers, a tachometer, dual-zone climate control, heated mirrors, and a compass and temperature display. For entertainment, there is a CD player. For some reason, the 2008 Crossfire Limited has only one cupholder. A navigation system is optional. The trunk holds up to 8 cubic feet, which is pretty spacious for a coupe.
For safety, the 2008 Crossfire provides 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, traction and stability control, and dual front-side and knee airbags with passenger deactivation. Foglights are also standard.
