The Signature Limited represents the middle ground of the Town Car trims. It has more of standard features and more available options than the base-model Signature.
Among these extras are some power accessories; that includes power-adjust on the brake and gas pedals, a power-adjustable driver's seat with position memory, and a power open/close trunk lid; a power moonroof, which is not made available on the base model, is also an option.
If you purchase your 2007 Signature in California, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, or Vermont, you'll get a traditional, gasoline-burning 239-horsepower, 4.6-liter SOHC engine. In the other states you'll get the same size flexible-fuel engine, as Lincoln reaches out to Mother Nature by making it standard this year in the states that allow it. Pair that with the 4-speed automatic tranny with overdrive and you'll get about 17 city miles and 25 highway miles to the gallon.
Comfort is of course of utmost importance in a luxury car, and the Signature delivers. The lovely wood and leather steering wheel features secondary controls for cruise, climate, and audio, and the leather seats offer a lot of comfort, especially in the front row, where they include heaters. Dual-zone automatic climate control also comes standard.
Lifesaving safety equipment has certainly not been overlooked. The Signature has the same features in this category as the other Town Car trims: all-speed traction control, power four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, dual-stage front air bags with crash-severity sensors, front-side air bags, three-point seat belts with pretensioners, and side-door beams. The Town Car has earned 5 stars in the NHTSA's frontal crash tests for the seventh consecutive year.
In addition to the aforementioned available power moonroof, you may opt for a navigation system, two-tone paint, a trunk organizer, a 6-CD in-dash changer, chrome wheels, all-season whitewall tires, and high-intensity headlamps.
