The ever-elegant Town Car, which can seat 6 in comfort, lives on as one of a dying breed in an SUV world. America's highways were once a sea of full-sized domestic luxury cars, but because of rising fuel prices and evolving trends, those days are long gone..
Lincoln's version of the land-yacht is available in four trim levels. It's the surviving option for the car buyer who likes spaciousness and plush comfort, yet doesn't want to have to climb into a towering behemoth. This breed of buyer is certainly discerning - and nearly always grey of hair. Lincoln's legendary ocean-liner of the asphalt boasts best-in-class front and rear hip room, shoulder room, front head room, and trunk space (21 cubic feet). This year there's a new, even longer incarnation, the L trim, which measures in with an additional half-foot of length. A more important newsflash for 2007 is the introduction of a standard flexible-fuel engine, which lends this land-barge a dose of environmental friendliness. Town Cars with this engine are sold in all states except for the same ones that are non-diesel; those sold in California, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, and Vermont feature a traditional gasoline-burning engine with the same specs (4.6-liter, single overhead cam V8). Besides that there are no real changes to report this year, but the following additions were made to the list of standard equipment: dual-zone auto climate control, power-adjustable pedals, door-mounted programmable keyless entry keypad. All but the lowest-price trim get a power open/close trunk lid and available trunk organizer. Three additional paint colors/finishes bring the total of choices to 16. Lincoln is proud to note that its Town Car has earned 5 stars in NHTSA frontal crash-testing for the seventh consecutive year. State-of-the-art air bags, ABS, and traction control are all standard, making this a safe vehicle for sure.
What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 2007 Lincoln Town Car have a solid appreciation for its spaciousness, comfort, and reliability. Many drivers love the smooth ride and the classic luxury feel, notably praising its ample seating and decent gas mileage given its size. However, some noted that features feel outdated and the car struggles with gas efficiency compared to more modern vehicles. A few mentioned mechanical issues and high pricing for a vehicle of its age."
I love everything about the Lincoln town car . Unfortunately it wont fit in my garage.
August 25, 2021One great Automobile. Great gas mileage for a car its size. Very reliable. Easy maintenance. Very comfortable
March 22, 2021The last of the solid American made car. The v8 engine big enough to handle 6 people and this size car but small enough to give 16 mpg in the city and 23 on the highway.

August 4, 2021I love this car.. Very roomy & spacious , also drives great
September 1, 2020i like to go for long drives and it feels very comfortable. The heater is very nice and its very cozy in the car. AC is very nice also. The trunk in very large. It feels a like a luxury ride.
February 2, 2013Comfort and surprising MPG=22 combined. Mostly 55 mph highway driving. We use this car for traveling, chauffering relatives and going to parties/celebrations. No major mechanical problems, but did have heater blower motor (burn out), power seat (quit on trip to Florida) and hub caps (plastic retainers broke off) problems. Acceleration, braking are fine but don't try to do any fancy turning with this giant. Wife doen't like to drive because it's too big. Ed
February 27, 2010Luxury like it used to be with rear wheel drive and a v8 engine. Best is car ever made in my opinion.
December 23, 2023Probably would have bought if price had been 8900 instead of 9600. Just cant see spending quite that much on a 16 year old car.
July 23, 2023This was a very nice car. It rode well, felt nice and was worth the money for the time we owned it. I'm glad someone else who will enjoy this car hopefully for many years ended up finding and buying it.
May 10, 2015The Lincoln Town Car is a great car. I wish Lincoln had just given it an engine and transmission upgrade to get more horsepower and updated the interior with modern options. I am not interested in any of the current Lincoln cars. They are too small. They look like every other sedan out there. They no longer look like a true luxury car. I love my small limousine.
