Write a reviewThe 2007 Chevrolet Malibu remains similar to the 2006 model, with the new addition of a 3.5-liter LZ4 V6 to accompany the LS and LT trims. The base engine remains a 2.2-liter Ecotech L61 I4, rated at 145 horsepower, and the high end stays a 3.9-liter LZ9 rated at 240 horsepower. Not bad for a smaller vehicle.
Starting just under $24,000, the 2007 Malibu gets 19c/26h mileage with a 16.3-gallon tank. It's a nice car with many options, including a decent sound system and trip computer. Depending on what you're looking for, you may want to check out its closest competitors (Camry, Accord) to see if one of these cars suits you better.

fast looks good but bad fuel economy.the car is good for long trips. 33 hwy
mpg.
lots of trunk space. Dont buy the 4 banger not worth the loss of power for the
fuel
efficiency. good good good car. Make sure if you live in an area that it snows in
you have snow tires because this car sucks in the snow..

This was very similar to the rental cars I drove a
couple of times in Atlanta. The performance is great
with the V-6 engine; great accelerations, good
braking and excellent handling. I really like the styling
of these mid-sized Chevys. An awesome car to drive,

Excellent vehicle. Reliable, comfortable, and economical. It has a peppy little V6 that makes it go 0-60 in around 10.5 seconds. It also has an XM radio. It is a perfect family car, with tons of leg and luggage room.Jan 30, 2010

This is my dad's new car. He bought it speciffically because it was cheap, basic, and gets decent fuel economy... which is fine if you like basic. But you have to seriously love basic, because this is the blandest car I've ever driven, save for maybe the Suzuki Forenza. It's not even worth talking about the performance, because quite honestly, there is none. It's a good thing they redesigned the Malibu the very next year, because this car represents one of GM's saddest attempts to compete against the imports.Nov 16, 2009

It is kind of huge. Difficult to maneuver; not fuel-economic like any other US cars. It takes less than 5 seconds to reach the speed that you need, that sure is a positive. Brake is pretty bad; you have to slam to stop sometimes.Jul 11, 2009

I like the fact that mycar gets great gas milage, but still looks great. It gets about 32mpg and goes about 109 mph. It is only a four cylindar so many people will not like it because they want the bigger motor. Jul 08, 2009

I love it because it's dependable and cute at the same time. Not too big, not to small. Four cylinder so it's not that powerful, but it gets up when I need it to. Pretty cool to drive. My favorite feature is the remote start because it turns on the AC for me before I can even get in the car, but the gearshift won't move until I actually put the key in the ignition so no one can steal it. With a 5 year/100, 000 mile powertrain warranty, there isn't much that I worry about with this car. I've already driven it almost 20, 000 miles and have had no problems out of it yet! Smoothest ride that I've experienced in a long time. It fits four people comfortably. With only 4 cylinders, it still has great torque and great handling speedJan 26, 2008

Malibu keeps getting better. No trouble at all at 2200 miles. Perfect size for 5 passengers, easy to park.Many special features, such as pedal adjustment and traction control. Had trouble with 1998 Malibu, but none with the 2007. We have the LT2Dec 27, 2006
