I have a 2002 Suzuki XL-7. I had to change my alternator belt and battery. After I changed them, I can't get my car to run properly. When I start the car, the car doesn't hold the idle; it dies. I basically have to treat my car (automatic transmission) like a manual. For example, when I come up to a stop sign, I'd have to put the car into neutral, rev the engin (so it doesn't die) and when it's my turn to go, switch back to drive. Please help

So my mom got this suzuki less then 2 months ago, and it broke down on her way home. Then, every time we start it, it runs for a couple minutes then turns off. When we lift our foot off the brake it doesn't move like it should. The idle is very bad, we've been trying to figure out why it keeps breaking down. But, i'm hoping someone can help us figure it out, so my mom wont be in pain from walking everywhere. Please help
When you turn the key to the “acc” everything works..the air turns on along with the radio, the headlights and all the dashboard lights but when you go to turn it over nothing happens, I don’t get a click or anything it’s as if you’re not even turning the key
