Lift Gate will not open
Lift Gate will not open, the other doors will unlock with remote but not the LIFT GATE. Has any one had this same thing happen with there Suzuki?

The Suzuki XL7 midsize SUV underwent a complete makeover for 2007. First off, this model comes in 3 basic trim levels: Base, Luxury, and Limited. Each trim has its own variations based on whether you have 2 rows or 3 rows of seats, and AWD or 2WD. Overall, you'll find 14 variations and all of them use a 3.6 L, 252 hp V6 engine with 5 speed automatic transmission.
Fuel consumption comes out to 18 mpg in the city, 23 on the highway for all trims. All 14 variations have 4 doors. The 2 row trims seat 5 and the 3 row trims seat 7. Expect to have around 103.5 cubic feet of interior room for you and your passengers. You can also get some cool extras including the Platinum Touring Package, which features a power sunroof, chrome wheels, and a DVD-based navigation system.
Overall, the new XL7 receives strong praise from reviewers. Smooth handling, comfort, and solid performance buck the trend that Suzuki has established for manufacturing budget vehicles. While not as refined as other models in its class, the 2007 XL7 does just enough to show the rest of the automotive world that you can't take Suzuki too lightly.

got it for a great price. took some getting used to. cannot complain. take to dealer for headlight change and oil changes. tires are a bit of an odd size but no real trouble getting new ones, stock tires suck in winter.May 26, 2015

It was really hard to diagnose, otherwise reliable. We went 7 years with no problems.... also disappointed Suzuki (auto) dealerships no longer exist in the US.

this car has been good overall. great cargo space, comfortable ride, to much road noise, great in snow with awd system. fuel economy is ok for a car this size and awd features. lack
of local suzuki service is frustrating. also lack of technical advice online is frustrating for certain issues ongoing with this car. Oct 10, 2012

My car always handled great but I'm having power steering issues now.The front end started making a popping noise (motor mount strut). Everytime I put gas in my car it dies, if I leave it running while pumping gas & then it doesn't want to start back.. I even tried turning it off while I pumping gas & it took several tries to start it back up.I went to the grocery store the other day & went to open the back hatch & it wouldn't open. The electronic switch is messed up.I've always had nothing but good things to say about my car but not lately. I'm very disappointed with my Xl7.Apr 07, 2012

Doesnt handle as well as my 2010 Mazda CX9 but costs half as much. Wife loves the car because it seems it can go any where safely with great all wheel drive. Heated leather front seats are great and stereo is amazing. Love the rear air shocks. For the price, this car cant be beat for value.Feb 06, 2012

This is one of the best rated mid size SUV's. It's got plenty of power, and tons of room. Seats 7!! It is loaded too. LIKE 100% FULLY LOADED! It's actually pretty fun to drive. I've already taken it to California one time and it was a very comfortable ride! I'm happy I bought it! It makes the person I bought it for happy too!! My mommy!!

What can I say, it has three rows and we got a great deal on it. Better then most SUV on gas mileage. It's a way of life! Three words: leather, heated seats!
