Great Family Vehicle — I love the Grand Caravan. This is one of the most reliable family vehicles that I have ever owned. We have put ours through hell and it keeps going. Just keep up the regular maintenance and it won't let you down.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great for trips, and family vacations.

Cons: Not much to look at and the extras are few.

Good Running Van — I am the second owner of this Dodge Grand Caravan, I had it since 03, I bought it with approximately 60K miles on it, the mileage is highway miles as I used back and forth to work every day. The van is not perfect, but it is very solid and reliable.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: run and drive good, Cold A/C, very clean interior, seat 7 confortable

Cons: tires are bad, lot of miles

Drove Mine For Over 200k — good reliable transportation. in for oil change regularly......heating system a bear at 150k plus radiator was is tricky if you need yours fixed be sure to get a ground strap run...seems to short out and cause electrolysis rusting holes prematurely..found that out on my 2nd replacement

Pros: take care of it not too much time in shop

    Cons: hwy gas weak

Nice, Practical, Reliable, Comfortable, Economical Vehicle. — I like it. I'm a Chrysler Corp/Mopar fan. Treat them right, and they will run forever. Check belts and hoses regularly, change the oil at least every 4000 miles, if something small is wrong, fix it before it turns into something big. Look around for a good used rig; you'll probably get a great deal because people don't appreciate what good cars and trucks Chrysler Corp has been making the past 15 to 20 years so they can be had cheaply. Don't buy one that hasn't been taken care of and fixed properly, and then complain because it's "junk". Be critical and careful going in, find one that's been care for and appreciated by the previous owner, and it will serve you well.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: People don't give Dodge and Chrysler Corp its due so good buys abound in the used market.  This is a nice looking van - better than any of the others foreign or domestic in my opinion for its model year.  Chrysler corp has been styling leader  for van and pick ups since the mid 1990's.  All the other companies try to make their models look like the Dodges without admitting that's what they are doing.  Mid 20 on fuel mileage on a trip, very comfortable front seats, adequate power from the smaller 3.3 v-6, nice ride, and user friendly appointments.  Mine is the base - sport model, which I like because there is less stuff to break, but at 132,000 miles, everything works - all the power stuff, the air conditioning - everything!

Cons: I get accused of driving a "soccer mom" car.  I don't care.  I love it.  My kids are grown and gone, but I like this thing because of all the room and all the things it can be used for.

Good Vehicle But Still A Minivan — its just a minivan.....its use is primarily for family transport. it doesn't do well on steep snowy hills, it has a moderate rate of fuel consumption, very comfortable interior, all around parts seem to be available and low priced. the only repairs I've needed to do were normal routine maintenance, and tires. not a very fun car to drive but it's very practical for families.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: have a family

    Cons: its a minivan

Beautiful Piece Of Junk — dodges are nice to look at. that's all you'll be doing after it's towed to your driveway. LOTS of problems with both dodges i owned. both cars had transmission and electrical problems, but the paint lasts forever. i also owned an intrepid.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: kids

    Cons: lots of mechanical problems

Again Overall Great Quality For The Price — Overall, I love this vehicle. This is my third one and it's very reliable. I don't want to imagine trading it in but with 103,000 miles the time may be upon us. Great bargain for the price and peace of mind with ownership.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: very comfortable, directional finder is great, great for long road trips

Cons: unfortunately with this being my third Dodge Caravan, the same fix-it repairs exist like fuel pump needing replaced , new transmission, and leaky head gasgets.
