1998 Ford Mustang Overview

The 1998 Ford Mustang had few changes from the 1996 Mustang and 1997 Mustang. The Saleens were so close to one another that many refer to the car as the "1997-1998 Saleen."

The GT did manage to find an extra 10 horsepower somewhere, moving from 215 to 225 with a similar 4.6-liter V8.

    Car Overheats

The car overheats when stopped at stop lights or slow traffic. We took it to autozone and they told us to replace a regulator. (This square looking thing) but it still overheats.
