I have a 1998 eclipse. Today i was taking it out as i was closing the garage i was signaling the car to go ahead before me so i started flixking the high beams and my car shut off. Any suggestions?? Thanks
The aftermarket turbo in my Eclipse Spyder GS-t is giving me problems, I did not install this turbo. It was installed by the previous owner, everything other then the turbo is in amazing condition as far as I know. I have been advised by a few mechanics who specialize in turbos to try and get the original turbo that is supposed to come with the car stock. It will be more reliable and efficient in the long run, however I have no idea where to start with this project. Me and a friend of mine are going to try and tackle the project on our own. Would appreciate any advice that is given.
My girl drive it to work with no issues then she said she heard a loud slapping sound and started to lose power she pulled over sat for a sec started it it turned over drove a short distance with "slapping" sound and the car lost power and from that point it will not turn over. I removed the valve cover and there was lil droplets of water along the edges my brother says it blew the head gasket please say there is some truth to this and nothing major. Either way please tell me what I need to do to fix my car!! Thank all of you
