Look and feel
The 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe offers exceptional cargo volume and towing power. The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee provides unmatched off-road capability and available luxury appointments. Both large SUVs seat up to seven passengers.
Performance
The Tahoe's 5.3-liter V8 generates 355 horsepower, while an available 6.2-L V8 makes 420 horses. The Grand Cherokee’s 3.6-L V6 produces 293 hp, and a 5.7-L Hemi V8 puts out 357 ponies. Max tow ratings are 8,400 pounds for the Tahoe and 7,200 pounds for the properly equipped Grand Cherokee.
Form and function
Thanks to its independent rear suspension, the Tahoe provides over 25 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row and over 120 cubic feet with all rear seats folded. The Grand Cherokee supplies 37.7 and 70.8 cubic feet of cargo volume, respectively.
Technology
Both SUVs come standard with large touchscreens, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and excellent voice recognition. The Grand Cherokee offers more available luxury tech like a digital rearview mirror, head-up display, and 10-inch front passenger touchscreen.
Safety
The Tahoe and Grand Cherokee both offer robust suites of standard and available driver-assistance systems. The Jeep introduced new semi-autonomous driving aid capability for the 2022 model year.
