My vehicle cranks and it doesn't turn over. Very low on cash and a mechanic is not an option at the moment.

In addition, the XL-7 uses a 2.7 L, 170 hp V6 powertrain with 5 speed manual transmission. Expect to get around 17 mpg in the city and 20 on the highway. If you need room to store your belongings, fold down the second and third rows to get up to 73 cubic feet of cargo space.
Drivers like the inaugural edition of the Suzuki XL-7. The low price and solid handling get the highest claim among the XL-7's features. However, critics warn that you could do better than a 170 hp V6 for an SUV and that the XL-7 could use removable second and third rows. In any event, the 2001 Suzuki XL-7 presents a good, inexpensive first SUV for a young family. If you need a little more power from your XL-7, go with something from 2002 or later.

I've driven my XL7 for 10 years in a 4 season climate and there's no rust on the body or undercarriage. Other than regular maintenance, I really haven't had to put any money into it except for the A/C which was a huge repair bill and very disappointing since it was barely used in the first place. This vehicle doesn't accelerate all that great which isn't helpful on the highway. It gets great city mileage and even better highway mileage. It handles well and the seats are still comfortable after all this time. Second and third row seats fold down. Lots of room for kids, dogs, groceries, etc. Jun 20, 2010

Actually, it's not bad, but the fuel consumption.....
It is spacious, ready for 7 people
Excellent off roading
It doesn't look handsome or attractive
But it is cheap in price, it is hard to believe such a low price you can get a 7 seater 4WD!Aug 01, 2009

No fuel after ground was hooked to wrong terminal and was crunk up
I had a buddy bring me a new battery, and he decided to put it in while I was not around. The ground was hooked to the. Wrong post and then started. I have fixed one dues that was blown and I got it to start, then it just stopped again. It will turn over but it's no getting fuel and I can't hear the fuel pump, what could be the issue? Did I burn the pump or is it another fuse or did I fry my computer? Any help would be appreciated
