Can a 2003 svt cobra 4.6 motor and transmission be installed in a1996 mustang gt if all of the computer is with it?..

The 1996 Ford Mustang brought a line of more efficient engines to the model. Gone was the 5.0-liter V8 that had been part of the Mustang engine choices for over 20 years, across three generations of the pony car. Ford instead opted for the more efficient 4.6-liter V8 rated at 225 horsepower.
The Cobra came standard with a 4.6-liter V8 rated at 305 horsepower. The 1996 Saleen continued to provide the most thrilling ride of the bunch, with an S-351 rated at 500 horsepower.

Drive a 96 ford mustang base model, recently a hose burst causing it to overheat, after replacing the hose and refilling the radiator it drove a higher temp than usual and had the check engine light popup, after pulling over and turning it off and letting it cooldown once more I made sure that there was enough coolant as well as checking all fluid levels, everything looked fine, went to start it up again and it would crank but would not start, my only thoughts of possibility is the fuel pump or spark plugs, still not entirely sure.
I have a 96 Ford Mustang GT V8 it keeps overheating. I noticed there was no thermostat in it when I bought it. So I went out and bought a thermostat put in it. The car still remained to run hot. Took the thermostat back out and it still runs hot. It's worse during the day when it's hot outside. Night time it's cool cucumber. But I noticed today at stoplight my oil pressure dropped but went back up not sure if my oil pump might be trying to go out but if that's so will that cause the car to run hot?
My theft light is on replaced sterringcolumn now cant get it to atart also replaced fuel filter battery cables fuel pump new cylinder with key what now dtill wont amstart
I have a 96 Ford Mustang GT. I changed the ignition. It starts for 2 - 3 seconds and then quits. The Theft light blinks. Is this a PATs issue or should I be looking at other issues?
