The 1995 Mazda 626 saw no notable changes for the 1995 model year.
The 1995 Mazda 626 is available in four trims: the base DX, the midrange LX and LX V6, and the ES V6. The ES is the high-end version, coming well-equipped with amenities such as power seats and leather upholstery. The base engine is a 2.0-liter, 118-horsepower four cylinder. The V6 boasts 2.5 liters and 164 horsepower. Fuel economy for the base engine was 23/31, and for the V6 it was 20/26.
The 1995 Mazda 626 receives high marks from its owners because of its comfortable seats, good fuel economy, and affordability. Many driving enthusiasts say the 1995 626 is much sportier and more fun to drive than most other midsized sedans on the market. Some drivers have had problems with the transmission, saying they give out more quickly than one should expect.

This has been a great car for me. It gets good gas mileage and will make someone a good car for whatever type use you need it for. The engine is in great shape, the exterior has some normal wear and tear, scratches, dings, dents, etc...interior has a few places also but overall a good solid car.Apr 24, 2011

a 1995 mazda 626 i bought for 650 seems to be alright has no performance tho
kinda sucks has sun roof and swing option and power window remote start but not
really fun to drive and has no muffler so its very loud

A fun and good looking car. Just beware, if you get the V6 model, be prepared to put premium in it. Being a Japanese car, well, you know it's gonna need some good gas, even says so in the Car Manual. Other then that, get ready for crappy performance and mysterious noises from under the hood, including engine tapping.
Accel- 4 out of 5 - Slow take off, hit 4,000-4,500 RPMs, it'll sit your ass flat against the seat.
Braking- 3 out of 5 - Sucks, I think tey should have put bigger discs on the front and rear, but then again, that's with my style of driving.
Handling- 5 out of 5 - Very smooth, quick and responsive handling.
Appearance- 5 out of 5 - A very sexy looking car for the year. Actually, the model I have has everything on the outside except a spoiler.
Other than paying for more expensive gas, and the cost of foreign parts when needed, its wonderful. Great gas mileage for a small V6 engine. I suggest you keep up on the maintenance and you'll have no problems.
A VERY fun car to drive. Sporty looking and fast for the highway. A 2.5 Liter V6 under the hood with 167HP is a good combination for the weight of the vehicle. Very responsive handling, and a quicker car for being a family sedan, yet good on gas to boot.Aug 07, 2010

Quite a good family car, altough i like to use handbrake on wet turns, and acelerate out of them, kinda soft for my style , but comfortable on long roads. Performance is a lot better than expected, but hydrocompersators started to rattle some time ago , i cant stand that noise.Sep 20, 2009

1995 Mazda 626 1.9 i is a typical limousine with sport suspension, behind the wheel you can exerience the feeling on the track with the 105 hp, but at the same time, in the city you can be a low rider...Mar 20, 2008

I have a 1995 626 2.0l. The Ac blows cold but i does not blow very hard i have 2 kids that ride with me and they always get hot in the back even if I point all the vents to the back. I live in AZ which means it very hot in summer. Just need to know how to fix it. I cant afford taking it to shop.
