I just got this a few days ago, a replacement for my sad Jeep. So far, I love it. I can't vouch much for the long term reliability, but mine's a 2003 and nothing is wrong with it. Sometimes I can't tell if it's running, the engine is so quiet, the car rides extremely smooth, and averages about 25 mpg. It's also nice looking without being too flashy.

The Lexus ES300 is a very reliable and safe car. It also has a sleek look to it. Lots of room on the inside for a midsize sedan for stretching out on long trips. Speaking of long trips, the ride is super smooth. This car is a top choice for a family car.

Really like this car. Rides like a cloud. Awesome for road trips. Smooth, quiet, roomy, responsive on the highways .. great sound system. Excellent mileage... get as much as 31 mpg on the freeway, generally get 26 mpg in town. Dependable, but maintenance is normal but pricey. Weakness, the brakes in snow or rain. They work but you can tell by the sound it's the cars weakness. I don't want to work when I drive and this car takes care that I don't . Wish I would have put an invisible bra on the front of the car. Several long road trips and the front bumper paint is seriously chipped.

i love the fuel economy and reliability of this car bought it when it had 173000 miles on it 5 months ago and now it has 187000 on it and still purrs like a great car. good for 4 people 5 is pushing it with 3 in the back. other than that its a great car

Very good on gas!! Comfortable!! Quiet ride. Not that great on acceleration, but it is pretty quick. The interior is designed very nice, but I did add a wood dash trim to make it look richer.
