My salesmen Art was really good. Open road honda has some work to do. The car had 2 things that needs to be corrected and I was told that those things were done. After 2 day of waiting I picked up the car and drove it for 2 days and the check engine light comes on. Now this was the main thing I wanted corrected. Because I have the same car at home I knew all the did was turn the light off and hoped it would come back on. So I go back to the service and I was told after pushing the subject that indeed they only turned it off thinking it was a false code. Give me a break. It was the cat coverter. That never gives a false code. and the AC blower motor was making crazy noise. They never even looked at that. So I told them to fix it or return my money. The Cat converter was fixed but I was told they were not going to fix the AC blower motor so I called the GM. I left a message and explain the whole thing and told him I told them if these things were taken care of they had a deal. The used car manager said no way but the salesmen Art was upstanding and said these thing were talked about before the purchase so the GM stepped in and said fix it. If you dont know how to buy a used car you will get screwed. That isnt just at open road honda, its at any dealer. Because they wer not upfront with me and put forth effort to deceive me I wouldn't buy another car from them but I would deal with Art.

finance mgr was called away to a mtg in
the middle of our purchase. We waited
for 2 hours for him and we were there
for a total of 6 hours. The Leaf was
advertised as a SL but when we
arrived...we found out it was a SV. Did
not like the experience.

I didn't get the impression the Internet Mgr. really knew much about their product. Dismissed the airbag recall issue as though it didn't matter. I think they're going to find out it does in the near future. I decided against buying a Honda until they change those airbags!!

Not a good car buying experience. after wating 4 days for the dealership to correct 2 mechanical issues that the Honda certified van had ( Gas cap sensor, and TPMS light on) the day I went to pick up the vehicle I realized that the Windshield had several small cracks. they offer to " Fix it" but refused to change the windshield. I consider a creacked windshield to be a significant safety issue specialy for a family vehicle, there for I walked away. I did not think That a certified Honda vehicle from a reputable Dealership should have a cracked windshield but the manager explained to me that replacing the windshield was not part of the Honda Certified pre-owened 150 point inspection Criteria. Also the TPMS showed up again. not confident of honda Certified inspections procedures or criteria.
Alex and Frank the sales agents were very respectul, helpful and interested in me as customer but I dont think this is true for the management of this stablishment. desapointed.

They were very responsive to my inquiry.The internet manager was very instrumental in the whole process and the deal I got was close to what I was looking to pay (off by 500 dollars on a relatively new car). The problem is the guy who actually sold me the car didn't explain anything. I was standing around waiting for an hour (with my kids) for the last guy to do the license paperwork, but had no idea why. He didn't explain anything about how the car works or when I would get the final paperwork. But everything else was fine.
